A spiritual practice is one that brings us full circle – not to a new self, but rather, back to the essence of our true selves. Yoga is the practice of celebrating what is.
Meditations from the Mat by Rolf Gates and Katrina Kenison
I have learned that the Western World focuses on the asanas (poses), and the ability to achieve the fullest expression of the desired effect. Asanas are just a mere aspect of yoga. To experience yoga is to experience divine freedom.
I hold a 200 Hr Certification from the Yoga Center of Carmel (Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA), and continued my journey at Yoga Liberty with a 200 Hr Prana Vinyasa Certification.
I have been blessed to attend workshops with Max Strom and Jamie Elmer, and look forward to my Restorative Yoga certification with Carole Westerman.
